What are Campfire notifications? +
You link a Campfire chat to Assistant, and updates get posted there. Changes stop hiding in items nobody had open and surface in the room where your team already talks.
What does the webhook manager do? +
It's a per-project toggle for to-do completion sync. Turn it on for the projects where completions should flow, leave it off where they shouldn't. No config files, no endpoints to paste.
Does Assistant work with Zapier or Make? +
Not directly. There's no inbound webhook external tools can call. If a tool writes to Basecamp itself, Assistant reacts to that Basecamp event, and your automation rules can take it from there. We'd rather be straight about this than let you plan around a connector that isn't there.
How does this relate to Automations? +
Same nervous system. Automations listen to Basecamp events and field changes, and integrations carry activity outward to Campfire and keep completions in sync. Rules decide, integrations deliver.
